<Torment>A nightmare in a nightmare. I threw up a group of fish. This project was drawn right after I woke up with a panic attack one night. In my dream, it felt like there were a million things swimming in my stomach. ——I threw up a group of incredibly alive and active fish. Before wiping my mouth I kept them in a basin. The worst thing is that my sickness never went away and my psychologist said they ran out of certain medicine that can cure me.
<Toxic Relationsip>I'm always interested in relationships between people. Family, lovers, friends, etc. Research showed that happiness usually comes from connecting with other people in our daily life. Somehow sadness too. I realized I never had the courage to leave anyone in my life, even someone who made me feel small about myself. Maybe I should learn to keep away from people that give me negative energy and start to be strong——maybe everyone should do the same.I had my second personal exhibition with this series. I’ve made it in giant prints and set it up as an installation with some thick yarns. This exhibition took place at the end of 2024——time to say goodbye to the passing year.
